It seems to me that removing roles is a fundamental functionality in GUI.
Why is it missed in version 7.0.0?

thats what i did aswell.
But it still shows up when im applying roles to a node in the GUI (Nodes
TAB -> tick the box for a node -> Actions -> apply Role).

thank you for the answer.
Ive updated to 7.0.1 today but there is simply no button for deleting roles
in the Web GUI.
Am i missing something?
Ive attached two screenshots.
I will try to look into the database to remove the roles.

you are suppose to be able to delete the role in the admin gui, did you try
it ?
Also connect to the mysql database and run a sql query to remove it.
For the mandatory fields it will be in the person table.
