Dear Packet Fence Community,

i'm new to PacketFence an i'm wondering if someone would be so nice to anwer me some little questions.

i've misspell one of my roles under 'Policies and access control' (ZEN 7.0.0) and im asking myself if there is a way to delete this wrong spelled role?

I'm also wondering where the information from mandatory fields in the Portal Registration form ist stored (like firstname, lastname whitch is configured in 'Portal Modules-Authentication::Choice default_guest_policy' in Web GUI). Where can i view this data?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hello Joachim,

you are suppose to be able to delete the role in the admin gui, did you
try it ?

Also connect to the mysql database and run a sql query to remove it.

For the mandatory fields it will be in the person table.

Regards

Fabrice

Hello Fabrice,

thank you for the answer.

I've updated to 7.0.1 today but there is simply no button for deleting roles in the Web GUI.

Am i missing something?

I've attached two screenshots.

I will try to look into the database to remove the roles.
Thanks a lot.

It seems to me that removing roles is a fundamental functionality in GUI.
Why is it missed in version 7.0.0?
