Also there seem to be a problem with testing local usernames on PF.
I get a "shared secret key is wrong" error from raddebug.. Error message
seems wrong as I have adjusted secret several times but i still get the
error.
I don't get error message at all when i run freeradius on a different
server.

Hello Akala,

fill the username and password that exist on the local db.

And do that:

https://packetfence.org/doc/PacketFence_Administration_Guide.html#_freeradius_configuration
(section 9.7.5)

Hello Everyone,
Tryingg to do an OOB setup.
Using PF as the radius server and database for storing local creds.
On the supplicant's side (Win7 in dis case), wanna know if there is a
need to input the username and password on when doing the dot1x config
on the network adapter.
And need to know if these creds need to tally with that defined on pfence?
Just a lil bit confused on the setup on the supplicant side...
Regards,
Kehinde

Shared secret is a shared secret between the switch/ap and packetfence.

So check on both sides that it's the same.
